|
Firstly my apologies.
Unfortunately the demo gives up at 15 mins so i ahve no late action to report :( |

Unfortunately this was a default win, MT pulled out of the UKCCL.

M&M have not been coping
well in division 1 this season. Because of this such Tas decided to field a UNR side
comprising 2 match regulars (Yaku and Luke) and 2 less experienced match players (Skidlee
and Juboy). |

Woo Hoo.....A real cracker
of a game this one, especially considering the reputation of this level! |

Could UKF improve on Season 2s performance and finally beat one of their favourite rivals, UNR? Meet you in the Warehouse dudes! After a slow start, the match seemed to explode into a Minos style fragfest! Much of the action was around the Rocket Launcher with [UNR]Tasan, [UNR]Luke and [UKF]Reaper battling over its control. Despite a ping of over 300, [UNR]JuBoy did some excellent grenade work, keeping [UKF]Cham and [UKF]Spog on their toes whilst they tried to dodge [UNR]Yakumos dreaded Railgun! For the last 3rd of the match [UKF]Blufftrash almost matched Tasan kill for kill, actually finishing in overall 2nd place with a score of 24 .Tasan whipped up an amazing score of 40 (Tas you are a killing machine!) with some nice RL and RG work twice he killed Bluffy under the moving boxes causing extended explosions! A good 87 / 55 win to UNR over a very determined UKF Well played both teams! Thanks to [UNR]Rude for an exciting demo..watch it :O) |

A hectic start to season 3 with the matches changed to Mondays, Insomniak [;OP] swanning off on holiday, Tasan and Diabolic having to re-install Windows and Luke with a corrupted Quake2, it may have turned out to be an unlucky 13th! Relief all round when Yakumo was joined on ICQ by Skidlee, Diabolic, Tasan and Luke (still without Quake 2 working!) With Rude in reserve we had a team! For both teams control of the Quad was important but it quickly became apparent that [APO] were aiming to control the Rocket Launcher by guarding the Grenade Launcher Staircase approach. With Yakumo and Tasan in frag fest mood [APO] had little chance of holding this position long. Skidlee (with 100% efficiency) had to pull out due to a poor con, the [APO] guys were also visibly upset with some poor cons during the match :O(. Fortunately, Luke had sorted his Q2 out by now and stepped in, quickly getting stuck into the action. With the RL Lift breaking, the Semicircular lift exploding and the lag induced squishes, the tension was only broken when Tasan blew himself up and MadDog laughed manically! LOL! A well fought game by both teams, a conclusive win by UNR by 65 frags! Well done ALL! :O) |
