UKCCL Season 1 has finished..and...WOOO
HOOOO!!!! We won :)
The page has been a little out of date recently, and I lost some stuff in the move so
expect the missing match reports to appear very soon, but right now like so many others
I'm busy with reallife (tm) and Tasan is away for the week on a training course.
After doing a little bit of homework since
we'd never heard of QTB, it seemed that they hadn't heard of us either. Not knowing what
to expect from a migrating Q1 clan with a resident lpb, the match got underway with no
problems. UNR closely guarded the main weapons making it hard for QTB to obtain the better
weapons available. Despite [QTB]Flame's efforts putting his low ping to good use at times,
UNR dominated the level and notched up a lot of frags very quickly.
This was our final match for the UKCCL Division 1, allowing us to win the division in
style : )

The sixth match in the UKCCL was against our
old friends UK Firm, they fielded some newly recruited members including an lpb. UNR
controlled many key areas of this map, pulling together when needed, Yakumo leading the
assault railing anything red that moved. A convincing win for UNR, pushing the clan
further ahead in the overall league.

Another great match, this time against the
Suicide Squad, play got underway quickly and SS were guarding most of the main weapons,
especially the rocket launcher / grenade launcher area. UNR responded quickly and broke
into the defended areas with Luke and I (Tasan) leading the attacks, in the end it was a
win for UNR but a close match, well done SS.

A good match with the Serial Killers clan,
not the best map for teamplay in our opinion, a bit too BFG intensive, but some decent
teamplay was implemented by both sides, if it was a little slow due to the size of this
map. Ended a fairly close one, SK played well but UNR pulled ahead in the second half of
the match.

The match got underway without too many
problems this time, most of UNR obtained free easynet trails in order to get a decent
ping. The Lava Louts seemed to be a little unprepared for the match, having only 3 players
ready and so this is reflected in the result. One LL player got dropped but was replaced
by another fairly quickly, a good match to make up for the farce of the first ukccl match.

After a lot of messing about we finally got
into a decent game against TJD for the UKCCL league. Unfortunately they only had 3 players
to go against 4 UNR, but two of us had pings of around 500 so it was fair.
TJD played well, but were overcome by those UNR with decent pings, hopefully the league
will sort out a different server to allow us to play on even pings with the other clans.
The results page has been updated with the necessary information.
