With (UNR)Tasan's lines of communication down, condeming him to the isolation of the Sheriff of Cardifs dungeon, and Insomniak away with maid Marian, UNR entered the forest without two of their best defenders, leaving the mighty Inquisitor to guard UNR's flag with Diabolic and Luke by his side.

DS's WILLscarlet, Little John and Much attacked UNR, grappling from tree to tree with great skill making many captures. DS's Friar Tuck, Father Deat and Starkers fought bravely against UNR's attack team of Rude & Yakumo, whilst UNR's Finn cast his mighty spell of 'Green Ball of fire' in the river between the two encampments, slaying many a dog.

Whilst the battle initially went well for UNR, the Defenders of Sherwood fought bravely and in the last 6" of battle triumphed with 3 fast captures as UNR's defence was overwhelmed by the strange sickness that had affected many of the forest dwellers....the dreaded 'laggy'. The 'rate' ;O) this illness spread caused some players to become delerious with rage and lash out at their attackers...for this we apologise but DS kept their heads (much to the annoyance of the Sheriff of Nottingham!) and triumphed 9 flags to 6 in a battle that seemed to last a lot longer than 25".

Could UNR repeat their Division 3 success.....we had 20 minutes to find out :O)

Abfab's tactics were 'traditional' put potentially deadly. Vincent & optimiser had the job of controlling the BFG (mid-water) area. From here they could BFG assist Havoc and Gemini/Cheese in attack. Expecting a strong defence, UNR had Yakumo, Rude & Luke in attack, leaving Diabolic to defend the BFG area. Happily this paid off....Abfab's Boris & Alchy proved to be excellelent defenders. With the medic-Rune, Alchy died only once and had all of the exits covered, much to the frustration of our attack! Nicely played Alchy. It took sheer determination and skill to escape with Abfabs flag.

...after a few tense minutes Rude evened it up.

With Tasan / Inquisitor doing an excellent job in defence and D frustrating Abfabs attempts to dominate the BFG, Abfab didn't manage to make another capture... Vince did come within a second of capturing before Yaku stole the flag from under his nose and later retrieved ours from him!
